Macedonia Trigueros Peña
Macedonia Trigueros Peña obtained a degree in Biochemistry from the University of Cordoba in 2018. During that period, she was a student collaborator in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. She then did a Master's in Advanced Genetics at the Autonomous University of Barcelona in 2019, and completed a Master's internship on triple-negative breast cancer at the Germans Trias i Pujol Health Sciences Research Institute. For a year she has worked as a researcher in the in-vitro evaluation of drug combinations to treat HER2+ breast cancer. She is currently involved in the study of ageing, using HIV infection as a model of premature ageing.
