Laura Ferrer Cendra

Laura Ferrer graduated in Biochemistry at University of Barcelona (UB) in 2019. Subsequently, she completed a Master's degree in Translational Biomedical Research at Vall d'Hebron Research Institute, in collaboration with the Autonomous University of Barcelona (VHIR-UAB), in 2020.

Then, she did a Master's degree in Teacher Training for Secondary at Pompeu Fabra University and the Open University of Catalonia (UPF-UOC) in 2021. Over the past three years, she has worked as a science teacher in different educational centers of Catalonia.

She joined IrsiCaixa on October 2024 as a Health Education Technician within the Living Lab for Health, where she participates in the Escoles Sentinelles project and other scientific education programs.
