Laia Vives Adrián
Laia Vives graduated in Biology at the Pompeu Fabra University (UPF) in 2009, and obtained a PhD in Biotechnology from the University of Barcelona (2014).
In 2015, she reoriented her career to science communication and science education by coursing a Master in Scientific, Medical and Environmental Communication (Barcelona School of Management-UPF). She worked for 5 years in Molecular Biology Institute of Barcelona as the responsible of science education activities and internal and external communication of the institution. Later, she completed the master’s degree in Secondary Education at UPF-UOC.
In 2021, she joined the Living Lab for Health to work at the European project CONNECT, which supports secondary schools to adopt open schooling, and other science education programmes.
