Francisco M. Muñoz López

Francisco graduated in Biochemistry at the University of Córdoba in 2019. His end-of-degree project was about plant transcriptomics. While he was studying he co-founded a startup company called “Bio Knowledge Lab” which was meant to provide support to research groups. Finally, he left the company to focus on his academic career, doing a Master’s Degree on Bioinformatics and Computational Biology at the Autonomous University of Madrid. His final project consisted on developing several functions to solve incomplete metabolic models at Centro Nacional de Biotecnologia, which helped him to improve his programming skills. Now, he is working on a project focused on the implementation of automated flow cytometry data analysis in order to understand the immunopathologic mechanisms underlying post-acute COVID-19 syndrome (PACS).
